Consulting and Implementation Services: Start-up or Existing Business
• Prepare and/or review past financial statements of the prospective business for areas of concern and performance.
• Review projections of future performance for viability and practicability.
• Prepare and/or review business plans for viability and presentation to banks, lending institutions or investors, including physical presentation.
• Prepare budgets to track vs. actual operating results.
• Design, implement and/or convert the “right” accounting/bookkeeping systems, POS system, cash flow management system and/or business software system for your small to medium sized business.
• Monitor your progress regularly to achieve success, including reviewing financial figures, marketing, sales strategies, and even helping you hire qualified employees.
Consulting Services: Business Growth and Operations
Operations: Assess and analyze how your business is currently situated and identify negative factors. Offer and implement solutions in areas such as:
• Lack of bottom-line profits and/or unsatisfactory gross profits
• Top-heavy overhead expenses
• Erratic cost of sales margins
• Disorganized administrative systems
• Ineffective, outdated and/or cumbersome accounting systems
• Employee problems – lack of motivation, theft, unclear job descriptions
• Growth and expansion strategies
• Decreasing markets and declining sales solutions.
Financial: Fully analyze financial statements for important areas of concern and suggest and/or design solutions for problems such as:
• Bad debts, top-heavy accounts receivable
• Unsuccessful collections and slow-paying customers
• Slow-moving and/or obsolete inventory
• Poor cash flow, un-reconciled bank accounts, lack of true cash position information
• Poor inventory control
• Out-of-control accounts payable
• Failure to renew required permits and licenses
• Late tax payments (sales tax; local, state and federal taxes).
Business growth: A full review of your business history, performance, marketplace share, business plan and future plans.
Crisis management, including acting as your interim Controller or CFO: Working side-by-side with you to resolve the crisis (such as restructuring your loans, renegotiating vendor/supplier terms, or managing bankruptcy issues), to get you back to business as soon as possible and get your personal life back on track. In addition to being a California Certified Public Accountant (CPA), our principal is a Certified Business Manager (CBM), and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs, and the Association of Professional Business Managers.
Fees: Consulting rate structures as low as $65 per hour, and available to fit your budget (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or longer), with discounted rates for longer-term projects. Major credit cards are also accepted (V/MC/Amex). |
